Strategically located between Western Europe and Russia, its economy is making good progress with consistent high growth. 2009 is likely to see much lower growth due to the affect of the international credit squeeze, but World Bank estimates recovery late 2009 and into 2010. Missed the boat with countries such as Bulgaria and Romania? A short term downturn does not affect the long term growth in world demand for these key commodities and the future is looking very positive. Whilst Ukraine in general is a strong market, the location of the Lighthouse development gives particular benefit. The South Coast of Crimea is one of the most favoured holiday destination for sun seeking Russians and Ukrainians. Sevastopol a jewel of a neo classical city, which along with Kiev is the fastest growing place in Ukraine. With Russia being the World’s second biggest producer of oil, (and world’s number one for natural gas), the future is looking good for that country as well. Quite a bit of that wall of money will find it way into seaside holiday homes, and there will be none better than the Lighthouse apartments. Rental and capital growth potential is real and significant. Although in Ukraine, this development gives direct exposure to rising wealth of Russian middle and business class. We believe the Lighthouse project is one of the most forward thinking projects on offer in Europe at present. It is the right location at the right time, and we expect a high level of media interest when released.
